Children are being evacuated from the city of Sderot by bus on Wednesday January 16 2008. Russian billionaire Arkadi Gaydamak on Wednesday has decided to fund buses to Jerusalem and accommodation for kids and youths between the ages of 13 and 20 from Sderot, because of Wednesday's barrage of some 50 Kassams and mortar shells which hit the city. Gaydamak has already taken such actions in the past; last May, he funded the "evacuation" of a few hundred Sderot residents to a Beersheba hotel. All photos by Rafael Ben-Ari/Chameleons Eye.
