NINE KASSAM ROCKETS HIT SOUTHERN ISRAEL, 10 PEOPLE HURTMonday, February 18, 2008 Damage to a garage next to a house in Sderot on Monday February 18, 2008. At least 10 people suffered shock after a Qassam rocket hit Sderot Monday evening. One woman sustained mild injuries while attempting to take cover. The rocket landed in a local yard, causing some damage to a nearby building. The Popular Resistance Committees and Islamic Jihad's military wing, the al-Quds Brigades, claimed responsibility for the Qassam fire.
