15-METER-LONG WHALE SPOTTED IN ASHKELON HARBOR

A 15-meter-long whale was seen in Ashkelon harbor in Southern Israel on Sunday February 3, 2008. The whale died a few hours later due to deep wounds to its head and tail. It took two cranes to remove it from the harbor. All photos by Rafael Ben-Ari/Chameleons Eye.
