"Walking" Condoms present a farewell greetings to President George W Bush as he departs Jerusalem Friday morning Nov 11 2008.This unusual farewell comes as a genuine Israeli HIV/AIDS activists appreciation of the President's initiatives to support African countries in the fight against AIDS through PEPFAR (President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief ) and other funding mechanism.President Bush decided and the American people have committed $48.3 billion across 10 years to fight HIV/AIDS aimed at: Treatment for 2.5 million people; Prevention of more than 12 million new infections; and Care for more than 12 million people, including 5 million orphans and vulnerable children.This is a lesson other nations – including Israel – could learn from. The Jerusalem AIDS Project is the leading Israeli non-profit organization focusing on HIV prevention among young people in Israel and in 27 developing countries.
