ISRAEL FORCES PREPARING FOR THE NEXT SUICIDE BOMBER ATTACK

Israeli Defense Forces are practicing a mass casualty scenario in Ashkelon caused by a suicide bomber attack on November 28, 2007. The IDF on Wednesday staged a suicide bomber exercise, simulating varied attacks in an operation meant to demonstrate lessons security and rescue forces previously learnt. In the one-day operation, which involved thousands of police, soldiers, security forces and emergency crews were to respond to simulated attacks on several different locations, including a chemical attack on civilian facilities in Ashdod.
