Chameleon's Eye is a new image provider that is dedicated to providing high-quality rights managment image content, based on one professional photographer's eye. It is a special selection from over ten of thousands of images from Israel and around the world from his unique life experience in over 6 continents for the last 15 years. The name of the company is based on the definition of the special creature the chameleon.
As the chameleon has the ability to change color to adapt to any situation and location. By blending himself with its surroundings he is unrecognizable to his prey. He can look in all directions simultaneously and he will use both eyes to judge position and distance correctly, before he shoots his tongue straight out of its mouth at the prey, just like our photographer to his subjects.

>What does rights managment mean?
All images for purchase from Chameleons Eye are rights managed or rights protected. Rights managed are very important, and serve to protect the rights of all parties. The type of rights managed is one factor that impacts image pricing. Rights managed is a complex process. Fees are determined based on the kind of use, size of use, number of copies to be printed and the term of use, usually 6 months to one year (negotiable).
"rights managment" can be an advantage for projects, such as ad campaigns, brochures, magazines and promotions. When you use rights managment, you are assured of the limited use of the image. You can even request exclusive rights to that image to eliminate its simultaneous use by other agencies and competitors.

>Why RGB instead of CMYK?
For web or multimedia projects, RGB files are perfect. For print production, however, RGB images need to be converted to CMYK.
Why CMYK conversion?
Because the RGB color space is much larger than that of CMYK, we believe that you will achieve better image reproduction if the service bureau or printer of your choice makes the conversion from RGB to CMYK.
Conversion is a process affected by many variables and is best left to the group outputting your film or running your presses. They will know their equipment best and will make the best recommendations about how your choice of ink and paper will interact with their output devices.
>What are your image prices?
Prices are based on use, size and distribution. To calculate a prices based on these variables, please register or login, then select an image and press the "add to cart". Follow the onscreen instructions to calculate an appropriate price.
>How large can these images be printed?
Our images have a resolution of 300dpi for print use. This means that the file contains 300 pixels per inch. Most print shops suggest that you deliver a file to them with a resolution that is 1.5 to 2 times the line screen frequency that it will be printed at. This is not required, yet it can improve the quality of the printed image in many cases. If you intend to print a 17 "x 11 " image at 150 line screen, then you would want to deliver a file that is 17 "x 11" and
300dpi. It is always recommended that you talk with the individual who will be outputting your file to get their exact specifications and needs.
>What is a JPEG?
JPEG is a standardized image compression mechanism. JPEG stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group, the original name of the committee that wrote the standard.
JPEG is designed for compressing either full-color or gray-scale images of natural, real-world scenes. It works well on photographs, naturalistic artwork, and similar material.
